This spectral range analyzer contains a linear variable filter and a 128 pixel detector array covering a wavelength range of 5.4-10.8 µm (1850-925 cm-1). That allows for multiple analyses. These include: biodiesel in diesel, ethanol in petrol/gasoline, or water in ethanol. The InfraSpec VFA-IR Spectrometer has a simplified PC interface for non-technically trained personnel that allows for data storage and transmission. It is compact and portable, making it ideal for on-site laboratory analysis. The NEW InfraSpec VFA-IR Spectrometer, Model EB for Low Level Biodiesel Detection is capable of accurately measuring biodiesel in diesel fuel down to 0.01% (100 ppm). The flow-through transmission cell and automated syringe pump allows for quick and easy sampling. Like our other InfraSpec models, it is rugged, portable and easy-to-use.
