Wilks Enterprise offers rugged, portable, easy-to-use analyzers for the Biofuels Industry - the InfraCal Biodiesel Blend Analyzer, the InfraCal Ethanol Blend Analyzer and the InfraSpec VFA-IR Spectrometer. They can be operated by personnel having little or no technical knowledge and provide measurement data in less than one minute. The rugged design and portability are ideal for on-site use in laboratories, production facilities or distribution centers.
The InfraCal Blend Analyzers are ideal where a single, repetitive analysis are needed. Both are lower-cost analyzers preset for a particular measurement such as percent ethanol in gasoline or biodiesel in diesel. The InfraCal Analyzer is self contained with an internal calibration program and a direct readout display. An RS232 interface is available for data transmission to a PC.
InfraSpec VFA-IR Spectrometer for multiple biofuels measurements This spectral range analyzer contains a linear variable filter and a 128 pixel detector array covering a wavelength range of 5.4-10.8 µm (1850-925 cm-1). That allows for multiple analyses. These include: biodiesel in diesel, ethanol in gasoline, or water in ethanol. The InfraSpec VFA-IR Spectrometer has a simplified PC interface for non-technically trained personnel that allows for data storage and transmission. It is compact and portable, making it ideal for on-site laboratory analysis.
The NEW InfraSpec VFA-IR Spectrometer, Model EB for Low Level Biodiesel is capable of accurately measuring biodiesel in diesel fuel down to 0.05% (500 ppm) in less than one minute. The flow-through transmission cell allows for easy sampling. Like our other InfraSpec models, it is rugged, portable and easy-to-use. Ideal for Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) operators at nuclear power plants, pipeline operators or other diesel fuel users who need to insure that their fuel is biodiesel free.
