InfraSpec for Biofuels Calibration Options
Several calibration options are available for the InfraSpec VFA-IR Biofuels Analyzers:
  • Customer prepared standards for calibration as described in the InfraCal Biodiesel Blend Analyzer User's Guide 
  • Packaged calibration standards available for purchase from Wilks Enterprise (ordering information is provided below)
  • Pre-calibration by Wilks Enterprise (non-certified factory calibration, as described below)

Standards
Standards can be made gravimetrically or volumetrically as described in the manual.   Pre-packaged biodiesel and ethanol calibration standards prepared by a certified laboratory are available for purchase from Wilks Enterprise. These standards have been prepared by weight (mg/ml) by an ISO-9001 registered laboratory. .

Non-Certified Factory Calibration
Wilks Enterprise can provide the InfraCal Biodiesel Blend Analyzer, InfraCal Ethanol Blend Analyzer of InfraSpec VFA-IR Spectrometer with a non-certified 6-point factory calibration using any of calibration standards that we have available for sale. 10 Point Biodiesel Calibration Standard Set
Standards range from 0 – 100% biodiesel in diesel fuel.  Standards are prepared by a certified laboratory.  Each vial contains 20 ml of standard, good for a minimum of 15 tests.  For use with InfraSpec VFA-IR Spectrometer, Model E or ES.

Standard concentrations are 0, 5, 10, 15, and 20% ethanol in gasoline.  Standards are prepared by a certified laboratory. Each vial contains 15 ml of standard, good for a minimum of 10 tests. For use with InfraSpec VFA-IR Spectrometer, Models E or ES.

5 Point Ethanol High Concentration Calibration Standard Set
Standard concentrations are 70, 80, 90, 95, and 100% ethanol in gasoline.  Standards are prepared by a certified laboratory. Each vial contains 15 ml of standard, good for a minimum of 10 tests. For use with InfraSpec VFA-IR Spectrometer, ES.

 403-1031 Non-Certified Factory Biodiesel Calibration for the InfraSpec VFA-IR Spectrometer, Model E or ES 
Non-certified 10-point factory calibration for biodiesel in diesel with the certified calibration standards.  The calibration range is 0 to 100% biodiesel.
