Application Specific Analyzers

The Wilks family of analyzers are filter based mid- infrared analyzers that offer quick quantitative or qualitative measurement. If you have a repetitive analysis that needs to be done on-site or in laboratory location where bench top real estate is limited, the Wilks analyzers could give you a rugged, practical solution. The InfraCal Analyzers and InfraSpec Spectrometers deliver precision and accuracy in a cost-effective, portable instrument. The user friendly interface allows operators to efficiently test samples and get results typically in less than a minute.

The applications listed are examples of some of the solutions Wilks has provided for measurements or locations where other technologies are not suitable or cost effective. If you have an application we have not listed, with the appropriate wavelength selection and sampling set up Wilks may be able to create a custom analyzer for your analysis.

  • Soot in Diesel Lube Oils
  • Anti-oxidant in Transformer Oil
    The InfraCal Filtometer is an inexpensive, easy-to-use field analyzer for measuring antioxidant in transformer oils.
  • Metal Parts Cleaning
    Components such as gas regulators, medical devices, space shuttle components, weaponry parts and oxygen sensors or tanks require testing to ensure metal parts are free of hydrocarbon contamination before use.
  • Barrier Layers in Multi-layer Films
